Members of the Niagara OPP are busy this morning (July 9) as one officer charges two separate drivers for stunt related charges in the Niagara Region.

Police say the pictured Jaguar XKR vehicle was stopped on the QEW in Lincoln.

The driver was travelling at an excessive speed and was charged with stunt driving. Their license was immediately suspended for 30 days, and they also received a 14-day vehicle impoundment.

Shortly before, officers charged a 20-year-old driver for the same offence.

Police say this is the 20-year-olds second time being charged with stunt driving in two years.

Members of the OPP Highway Safety Division remind drivers to #slowdown and #arrivealive on their Twitter, “Enjoy this beautiful day, but please drive safe.”
