Niagara Police are still on the hunt for a 37-year-old Welland woman last seen in mid-May.
Lauren McCollum was last seen on May 14 in the Rice Rd. and Merritt Rd area of Welland.
At that time, police say she had left a family home with a friend. While she primarily lives in Welland, she has been known to move around the Niagara area, especially Niagara Falls, as police add “she is known to frequent there.”
Police say while McCollum “will check in and communicate with her family periodically, she has not communicated.”
McCollum is described as a white female, fair-skinned, 5-foot-4, approximately 140 pounds with shoulder-length dark blonde hair. She has no tattoos but both her ear and nose are pierced.
McCollum was first reported missing to the Niagara Police on July 17 and so far efforts to locate her “have been unsuccessful.”
Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009395.
