Another 23 COVID-19 cases today in Niagara Region

Make that another 23 new COVID-19 cases today (September 17) for Niagara Region as the Delta variant continues to roll through the Golden Horseshoe, now accounting for every existing case in the region.

However, with 30 resolved cases today, the existing caseload for Niagara is 283, on the decline after passing 300 as recently as earlier this week.

Niagara Falls continues to be the municipality with the most cases at 88 followed by St Catharines at 71.

Thorold and Welland continue to have large numbers with 29 and 22 cases respectively.

The remaining eight municipalities have case numbers ranging from two to 16.
