Boyz II Men coming to Niagara-on-the-Lake for charity concert

One of the biggest R&B vocal acts of the 1990s, Boyz II Men will be playing a fund-raising gig in Niagara-on-the-Lake on June 4.
Originally a four-man group, it’s now down to two tenors, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman and one baritone Nathan Morris. In the early 2000s, bass singer Michael McCary had to step away for health issues.
They’ll be playing the stage at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa from 8 to 11 pm to raise money for the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation, which supports the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines by providing rehabilitation and complex care for patients in Niagara.
The group had some of the biggest hits of the 1990s and 2000s with some smooth tunes like “I’ll Make Love to You,” “On Bended Knee,” “Motownphilly,” “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday,” and a huge duet with Mariah Carey, “One Sweet Day”.
The group was originally set to play this fundraiser in February but organizers were forced to cancel due to increased COVID-19 restrictions.
Tickets are on sale now, starting at $107 for the back-of-the-room seats and moving up in price with four different tiers of tickets available, including a VIP experience package that includes front-row seats, a private cocktail and meet and greet with the group before the show.
