Haunted evening of Halloween classics comes to Hamilton

There is a concert coming up in Niagara Falls that classical music lovers will not want to miss.

A quartet – three violinists and a cellist – will be performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and More at Oakes Garden Theatre on July 22 at 8:30 pm.

Say the organizers of Candlelight Niagara Falls, “Once you’ve taken your seat in a sea of glimmering candles, a gifted string quartet will work their magic on some of the most iconic compositions in music history. Feel a gentle summer breeze and hear the gushing sounds of the cascading waterfalls in the distance as they flood through this spectacular open-air venue.”

“The magical combination of breathtaking live music with the enchanting flicker of candlelight is made even more special when experienced in this stunning outdoor setting. Everything is set to make this an incredible evening you certainly won’t want to miss.”

Constructed in 1936, Oakes Garden Theatre was chosen by the organizers, who say it’s “an idyllic scene. Adorned with a wide array of aromatic flowers and lush shrubbery, a curved pergola surrounds this gorgeous amphitheater that has hosted a myriad of events including choir concerts and movie screenings.”

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is a 90-minute evening consisting of four separate concertos that embody spring, summer, autumn and winter.
