One of the first food outlets in Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls has finally applied for a larger liquor licence.
According to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, The Famous, a diner-coffee shop on the casino property, has applied for a Change Application, which involves changes and/or additions to existing licensed areas.
That usually mean that the establishment is partially-licensed and is looking for a full licence.
According to the AGCO, the public has until July 11 to speak to or object to the application.
The $1 billion Fallsview Casino opened to the public on June 10, 2004.
On its website, The Famous states it also opened in 2004 and has been with the Fallview for the entire run.
According to their website, the diner-coffee shop is “a staple for fresh food, any time, any day of the week. Our great location, great menu and fantastic ambiance make The Famous the perfect place for you and your family to grab anything from coffee to a full meal.”
They continue, “We value the comfort of our patrons and the quality of the experience above all else. Our diner-style restaurant features beautiful, vintage decor and our menus include local, seasonal ingredients for that home-cooked feeling that will leave you feeling happy well after you’ve continued on your journey. ”
Given it a slightly Vegas vibe is the fact it’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
