Concern for ‘welfare’ of missing Welland man

The public’s help is requested in helping to locate a missing 24-year-old Niagara Region man who has a medical condition that requires attention.
Niagara Regional Police’s office in Welland/Pelham received notice that James Emery was missing on Tuesday.
His family last spoke to Emery on Friday (Sept. 6).
“James checks in with his family daily, but he has not been heard from since,” said Niagara police.
Emery, who will likely have his service dog with him, has been known to frequent St. Catharines, Burlington, Toronto (Union Station), and the Durham Region (Whitby).
“The police and James’ family are concerned for his welfare,” said Niagara police.
Emery is described as:
- White male
- Approximately 190lbs. medium build
- 5’8” feet tall
- Brown eyes
- Brown short hair
- Glasses
A clothing description is not known currently.
