Concern for ‘welfare’ of siblings gone missing in St. Catharines

The public’s assistance is being requested in helping to locate a brother and sister who have gone missing in St. Catharines.

Mikayla Garcia, 14, and her brother Jacob Garcia, 12, were last seen around noon on Wednesday (June 12) in the area of Parkview Road and Eastbourne Street.

“The police and Mikayla and Jacob’s family are concerned for their welfare,” said Niagara police in a media release.

Mikayla is described as a white, five-foot-three, 110-pound female with long red/brown hair. She was wearing black shorts and a black hoodie.

Jacob is described as a white, five-foot, 110-pound male with short brown hair. He was wearing sweatpants, a black t-shirt and blue crocs on his feet.
