Delta variant continues to roll over Niagara Region with 32 new COVID-19 cases today

There are 32 more cases of COVID-19 being reported in Niagara Region today (August 30), pushing the active cases up to 190.
Of those cases, four people are in the hospital with two of them in ICU.
Once again, the Delta variant is or “likely” is the cause of every case in Niagara.
St Catharines has 70 of the existing cases while Niagara Falls accounts for 41. Welland, Lincoln and Thorold are all in double-digits with 19, 14 and 13 cases respectively.
