The St Catharines downtown streets will remain a pedestrian paradise until the end of October, the city and St. Catharines Downtown Association announced.

However, there will be a few adjustments.

While it was originally meant to be shut down this Sunday (October 10), Sundays are now off the list as St Paul Street was open to traffic as of last night (October 3).

However, the stretch on St Paul Street from William to Carlisle and from Bond to Court Street will be blocked off to traffic with patios expanded onto the street and the centre wide open to pedestrians from 4 to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
