Every Beer Store closed on Canada Day in Niagara Region

There are slightly more than 430 Beer Stores in Ontario and on Canada Day, July 1, some 118 of them will be open with shortened 11 am to 6 pm hours.

That is, except in Niagara Region where all of our Beer Stores will be closed.

While that’s nothing new to the residents of Fort Erie, West Lincoln, Wainfleet, Port Colborne and Niagara-on-the-Lake – none of whom have Beer Stores in their boundaries – the remainder of Niagara all have beer stores, multiple in the case of Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, but they’ll all be shut tight on July 1.

However, in all cases, the stores will be open their normal hours on Friday, June 30 and Sunday, July 2. So basically, stock up.

That said, all of Niagara Region’s craft breweries with to-go beer sales are showing “door’s open” signs. They include:
