Explosives investigation leads to second person charged in Niagara Falls, Ontario

A second person faces charges after explosives were found in a Niagara Falls home earlier this month.
Multiple explosive devices were discovered at a home on Beaver Glen Drive near Brookside Drive on Sept. 4, Niagara Regional Police said.
The devices were in varying stages of completeness, police said.
A few days later, Taha Sleiman, 21, was charged with make, possess, care, and control of explosive device; and unlawful possession of explosives.
Police said they searched a home on Beaver Glen Drive near Brookside Drive on Sept. 28.
Simultaneously, with the assistance from the Chatham-Kent Police Service, officers searched another home at the St. Clair Street and Paxton Drive area of Chatham, Ontario, police said.
On Sept. 28, Malek Sleiman, 26, was arrested and charged with make, possess, care, and control of explosive device; unlawful possession of explosives; possession of a prohibited Device – Taser device; and possession of a prohibited device – pepper spray.
Sleiman was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
