Flipped truck blocks major road in Grimsby

While details are still scarce, Niagara Police are reporting that Main St. West in Grimsby is closed in both directions after a large 18-wheeler flipped on its side, blocking the road early this afternoon (July 13).
Police say the rollover occurred at Main St. West and Wolverton Rd. The driver was taken to the hospital for assessment and treatment of minor injuries, they added.
The police did not report what may have caused the rollover.
As you can see from the pictures, the truck came perilously close to taking out a hydro pole after it flipped, missing it by just a few feet.
“Please avoid the area,” says Niagara Police.
