Four people now face first-degree murder charges, after Fort Erie death

Two women face first-degree murder charges, and two men have had their charges upgraded in relation to the death of a man in Fort Erie nine months ago.
Late on June 9, 2021, Niagara police in Fort Erie were called to a home in the area of Mathewson Avenue and Dovercourt Roa in Fort Erie. The responding officers located the body of an adult male without vital signs. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
On Thursday, the Niagara Regional Police Service announced that further investigation has led to the arrest of two additional suspects.
Rikki Anger, 40, of St. Catharines, and Rebecca Eden, 41, of Fort Erie, have both been charged with first-degree murder. They have a bail hearing in a St. Catharines court on Friday (March 11).
Andrew Blais and Tristan Skelton, both 30 and of Fort Erie, now face first-degree murder charges. They were arrested on June 12, three days after the discovery of the victim. At that time, they were charged with second-degree murder.

Hendrika Skelton of Lincoln, has also been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. She made her first court appearance to answer to the charge last August.
