Four youths pepper sprayed in Welland, teenage female wanted

A 19-year-old Dunville woman is facing four counts of assault with a weapon after allegedly pepper spraying a crowd in Welland earlier this month.
Niagara Regional Police were called to the area of Wellington Street and Memorial Park Drive around 11:30 a.m. in response reports of an assault.
“(An) investigation revealed there was a disturbance in the area when a female suspect discharged pepper spray at the crowd,” said Niagara police.
As a result, police say four male youths sustained minor physical injuries.
Destynie Tempeny, 19, of Dunville is wanted for the following charges:
- Assault with a Weapon (four counts)
