It is going to be chilly overnight across Niagara Region for the next two nights, which means growers should cover up plants.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a frost advisory on Tuesday afternoon for Grimsby, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland and the rural parts of the region.
“Temperatures are forecast to fall to the freezing mark overnight, resulting in patchy frost,” the weather agency says.
“Frost is expected Wednesday night into Thursday as well.
“Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.”
The Toronto and Windsor areas have also received a frost warning.
