Torontonians looking for a quick escape to Niagara wineries and hate sitting in QEW traffic will soon get their chance to do it without even hopping into their cars.

Metrolinx just announced that GO Transit is teaming up with Wine Rack to bring Torontonians to popular Niagara wine estates, Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin, on a new all-inclusive wine tour experience.

The trips will run every Saturday, starting September 18 and go until October 16 (except for the Thanksgiving long weekend.)

At 9 am, wine-lovers can board a GO bus at the Union Station Bus Terminal that will go straight to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a stop at either the Jackson-Triggs or Inniskillin winery.

Metrolinx suggests customers should arrive at 8:30 a.m. sharp to check in and board the bus on time.

On the way, riders can enjoy local wine knowledge from the on-board host.

Once you’re at the winery, you’ll enjoy a two-course lunch with wine and then move onto some wine tastings.

The full-day tour wraps up back in downtown Toronto at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $99 and must be purchased in advance directly from Wine Rack.
