The Hamilton woman that Niagara Police believe was driving the getaway car for a Grimsby gas station robbery has turned herself in voluntarily.
On August 1 at 4:40 a.m., police responded to a Petro Canada gas station at 424 South Service Rd. between Industrial Dr. and Casablanca Blvd. after reports of a robbery in progress. A shot was fired during the robbery but there were no injuries.
Alleged getaway driver Rebecca Collingwood, 26, is charged with one count of robbery involving a firearm.
However, police are still hunting Marcus Roy, 24, also of Hamilton, shown below. He’s wanted for robbery and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police are also asking for the public’s help in identifying two other suspects, labelled #1 and #3 below, in connection with the robbery.
