A Harvey’s restaurant in Niagara Falls saw some significant fire damage after an early morning fire.
At roughly 4:30 a.m. this morning (May 16), Niagara Falls Fire Department crews were called to the Harvey’s location at 3930 Montrose Road near Thorold Stone Road.
Deputy Fire Chief Scott Wilkinson told a local radio station that his crews had to force their way into the restaurant.
While the blaze was extinguished quickly by the 23 firefighters from five stations, the damage is estimated to be $215,000.
The restaurant was, of course, empty but Wilkinson confirmed that none of his crew was injured. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
