If you’re looking for something family-friendly to do this summer, you might want to check out a giant inflatable waterpark that’ll soon take shape at Nickel Beach in Port Colborne.
Splashtown Niagara, a huge floating waterpark that features slides and obstacle courses, will open on June 30.
Splashtown also operates a seasonal park on Lake Mindemoya on Manitoulin Island.
According to Splashtown’s website, the Lake Erie park first opened in 2022.
It can be found on the southern end of Welland Street at Lake Street.
“The park offers fun for all ages—a great challenge for families and friends and an exciting new physical and mental challenge for those who want to improve their overall health and wellness,” the website reads.
The park opens daily at 10 am and closes at 7 pm. Guests must be 5 years of age or older and children between the ages of five and eight must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must wear lifejackets.
Tickets start at $17.70 for a one-hour pass. Day passes can be purchased for $30.97.
Guests must bring their own swimwear and towels, and admission to the beach is not included in the ticket price. Attendees must also sign a waiver before entering the park.
