A 911 call prompted the arrest of a 30-year-old driver exhibiting erratic behaviour on the road in Niagara Falls.

According to a tweet by the Ontario Provincial Police, the driver was apprehended on QEW/Mountain Road.

Authorities found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level which was twice the legal limit.

What made this situation even more alarming was the presence of the driver’s two young children, aged 2 and 4, as passengers in the vehicle.

Additionally, police say they found open containers of liquor within the car.

The man now faces three criminal charges including impaired driving, excess blood alcohol and open liquor.
