A Lincoln man has been charged by the Toronto Police for allegedly uttering threats to a parking attendant who issued him a ticket.
Police say on July 14 at 9 a.m., they were called to the scene of the commotion by the parking enforcement officer in the Macpherson Ave.-Avenue Rd. area of the city.
While there, the parking enforcement officer told them that at 8:50 a.m., they had asked a group of construction workers to move their vehicle off the sidewalk where it was illegally parked.
When they returned at 9 a.m., the vehicle hadn’t moved so they started writing up a parking ticket.
At this point, the attendant alleged one of the workers became enraged and started shouting profanities and threats.
Celebi Yasin, 27, of Beamsville, was charged with uttering threats of bodily harm.
He is scheduled to appear in court on August 28 at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armory St.
