Man charged in connection with Niagara Lounge stabbing

A 27-year-old Niagara man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at Euphoria Social Lounge on July 23.

Niagara Regional Police say, the incident occurred last Sunday and left two men with serious injuries and another man with minor injuries.

The victims continue to recover from their injuries.

Sameer Channan, the operator of Euphoria Social Lounge, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault.

Channan appeared before a video bail hearing at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines today (July 31).
