Mitch Marner wed his long-time girlfriend Stephanie LaChance at Peller Estates in Niagara-on-the-Laker on July 29.
When Toronto Maple Leafs star Mitch Marner held his July 29 wedding to long-time girlfriend Stephanie LaChance at Peller Estates in Niagara-on-the-Lake, it’s certain the winery has never seen that many hockey celebrities under their roof in one sitting.Marner, 26, who first met LaChance at their Markham high school, rolled out the red carpet for some of the NHL’s biggest names past and present.

The guest list was packed with current Maple Leafs including Morgan Rielly, Jake Muzzin, John Tavares, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and T.J. Brodie.

The former Maple Leafs list was far larger, including Rasmus Sandin, Nazem Kadri, James Van Riemsdyk, Joe Thornton, Zach Bogosian, Tyson Barrie, Connor Brown, Tyler Bozak, Zach Hyman, Alex Kerfoot, Timothy Liljegren, Michael Bunting, Freddy Andersen, Justin Holl, Tyler Ennis, Matt Martin, Zach Bogosian and former father figures, Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau.

That’s a lot of star power – basically an NHL All-Star team under one roof. Even Zeus the dog, the couple’s beloved four-year-old chocolate Lab, was decked out in a faux tuxedo.

Marner led the Leafs in points with 99 last season, the third time in five years he’s finished first. He is also tied for fifth in franchise points-per-game at 1.09, ranks seventh in assists with 386 and 10th in total points with 554.

As Auston Matthews looks on, Marner dips his new wife in their first dance.

Marner surprised LaChance at a Shania Twain concert in Toronto last month when he sent a message to the singer that LaChance was her No. 1 fan. Twain read Marner’s post and invited both on stage for a dance and a selfie.

The two-day celebration started with a welcome party on July 28 followed by the wedding at Peller Estates on Saturday.

Nazem Kadri, who once played with the Leafs and currently plays with the Calgary Flames, shared a pic on his Instagram stories on July 30. The pic shows a happy groom with his friends.
