Missing Waterloo woman may be in Niagara Falls according to authorities

Niagara regional authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman from the Waterloo area. 

In a post to X (formerly Twitter), regional authorities have indicated that a 29-year-old Waterloo woman named Lixian, who is actively missing, may likely be in the Niagara Falls area.

She is described as:

• East Asian
• 5’2”
• 100lbs
• Has shoulder-length black hair 
• Wearing a pink Jansport backpack

Authorities have further indicated that there are concerns for Lixian’s wellbeing. 

Local law enforcement officials are urging  anyone with any information on Lixian’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers or Waterloo and Niagara police
