Due to the air quality advisories in Niagara at the moment, Niagara Parks is canceling tonight’s (June 29) fireworks display.
The group said they’ll be reviewing the air quality situation tomorrow (June 30) and deciding by noon whether or not to light them off or hold back.
However, Niagara Parks says the sky will light up on Canada Day (Saturday, July 1) and American Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4) as the usual five-minute firework display will be extended by another nine minutes on both days.
