Niagara Falls resident Tina Fletcher’s willingness to try something new has put a nice sum of money in her pocket.

A regular lottery player, Fletcher loves to try new Instant tickets and it paid off in a big way, winning the top prize of $80,000 with Instant Level Up.

Fletcher, who works in the hospitality industry, got her first big win when she played her ticket at a local gas station.

“I saw the ‘Big Winner’ screen and thought it couldn’t be right,” said Fletcher, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I saw the ‘Big Winner’ screen and thought it couldn’t be right. I waited for the screen to clear and scanned my ticket again.

“I was overcome with disbelief, thinking there was no way this could be happening!”

Only when Fletcher officially validated her ticket did the reality of what just happened sink in.

“When the lottery terminal froze, that was when I knew it was real,” she said. “I called my sister to share the news, and she didn’t believe me at first. “This is amazing and feels great. This win is going to go so far.”

Fletcher knows exactly what she’s going to do with her winnings. She’s going to pay some bills and get a new vehicle.

Fletcher bought the ticket at Pioneer/On the Run on Drummond Road in Niagara Falls.
