Niagara Police are on the hunt for a Niagara Falls man who allegedly broke into rooms at a Welland retirement home earlier this month.
The police were called to the home on June 9 and talked to staff who had reviewed surveillance footage. Police say the man entered the building just past noon and entered six unlocked unoccupied rooms.
When he was confronted by staff, he reportedly left on foot. One 18-inch gold chain necklace and one cell phone were missing from two rooms, police say.
Russell John White, 60, of Niagara Falls, is now wanted in connection with break and enter, theft and probation violation-related offences.
