Niagara Falls vlogger says some of the best meals come from a food truck

Niagara Falls vlogger Adam Craig (a.k.a. “Hidden Jackpots” on YouTube) tirelessly comb one end of his city to the other on a regular basis, hunting for, well, exactly that – hidden jackpots.
If there’s an oddity, a special event or simply something that Niagara and non-Niagara residents might not know anything about, Craig’s on top of it. Quite often, that means food.
While there are no shortage of vloggers or reviewers who highlight fine dining at some of the city’s world-class sit-down restaurants, Craig prefers to take the path less chosen.
Such was the case when he happened upon the World Street Food Tour truck at 4746 Montrose Rd. in Niagara Falls.
When he first visited on April 4, it was due to the fact that the food truck offers up steak, rather than the traditional mobile food eateries’ staples of burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese and fries.
Craig decided to go for the Ribeye Steak Shish Kabob and the 10 ounce New York Strip, quipping, “Headed to a local food truck for some steak. Yep, you heard me right!”
If you watch Craig’s video visit to the Work Street Food Tour truck, you’ll notice its been completely repainted between his two visits there just a month apart.
He has, of course, since been back, this past weekend trying their Grilled Asian Jumbo Shrimp with a side of fries. “So delicious!” he raved.
Certainly the World Street Food Tour truck is anything but traditional, offering up mobile treats that you could only previously expect in a sit-down restaurant.
If you’re interested in placing an order ahead of time, call the truck at (905) 984-1928. The truck is closed Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday 11 am to 6 pm, open Wednesday 11 am to 5:30 pm, open Thursday and Friday 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 11:30 am to 6 pm.
