Niagara has nine of Canada’s ‘Most Romantic Restaurants’ with six alone in Niagara-on-the-Lake

If couples are looking for that perfect spot to have that romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day, they may want to drive straight to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The tourist town is home to six of the most romantic restaurants in all of Canada. On top of that, restaurants in St. Catharines, Lincoln and Niagara Falls also made the list, giving Niagara Region nine of the Top-100 romantic spot in the entire country.
Online restaurant reservation service OpenTable has released its list of The 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in Canada in 2022, which is based on reviews from diners. In the end, 42 of the restaurants were from Ontario.
Of the nine, Kitchen76 at Two Sisters Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake had, far and away, the most reviews at 3,418. They landed with a 4.6/5 over-all, scoring 4.8 for service and 4.6 for both food and ambience.
Based on 214 reviews, Oaklands at The Riverbend Inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake collected 4.7/5 overall score with the service notching 4.8 and both the food and ambience scoring 4.7.
Restaurant Oban Inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake had 753 reviews and from those saw 4.7/5 overall score with their service scoring 4.8, their food collecting 4.6 and their ambience at 4.7.
With 1,828 reviews, The Drawing Room at The Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake scored 4.8/5 overall with their service getting 4.8, their food rated at 4.7 and their ambience hitting 4.8.
Based off 1,448 customer reviews, The Good Earth Vineyard And Winery in Niagara Falls received 4.8/5 overall score with their service at an impressive 4.9, their food collecting 4.8 and their ambience at 4.7.
The Restaurant at Redstone in Lincoln ended up with 1,367 reviews, collecting 4.6/5 overall with their service, food and ambience all getting scores of 4.7.
From 2,978 reviews, Treadwell Farm-to-Table Cuisine in Niagara-on-the-Lake saw an impressive 4.8/5 overall score with both service and food collecting a stellar 4.9 and the ambience rated at 4.7.
Also heavily-reviewed with 3,309 in total, Trius Winery Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake notched a 4.8/5 overall score with their service, food and ambience all rated at 4.8.
The lone St. Catharines entry, Valley Restaurant, had a total of 885 reviews, scoring a 4.8/5 overall score with service and food both collecting 4.8 ratings and the ambience showing at 4.7.
Three of Ontario’s 42 most romantic restaurants on the list are in nearby Hamilton. But with nine of the Top-100, there can be little doubt that Niagara is the Romance Capital of Canada when it comes to intimate dinners.
To compile the Top 100, more than 726,000 reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners were analyzed.
