A 45-year-old Niagara-on-the-Lake man was one of two bodies identified after a plane crash late last week near the Sundridge-South River Airpark.

Dewi Livingstone and Susan Beggs, 73, of Ottawa both died instantly after their small prop plane went down at 3 pm on September 16.

The airpark in the tiny rural community is located 50 kilometres south of North Bay down Highway 400.

The OPP investigation was assisted by Canadian Forces Base Trenton Search and Rescue, South River/Machar Fire Department, Sundridge/Strong/Joly Fire Department, Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and members of the public.

The Almaguin Highlands Detachment Criminal Investigation Unit of the OPP continues the investigation along with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB).
