Niagara’s OPP pulled a driver off the road today after discovering the man’s “breakfast beer” stashed under his seat.

Highway division cops pulled the man over around 10 a.m. April 25 as he drove westbound down Queen Elizabeth Way outside Beamsville.

The man, 60, was on his way to work. According to officers on scene, he was sipping on a “breakfast beer” as he drove along.

Investigation found the driver was not impaired, but he did catch a charge for open alcohol in the car which automatically results in a $180 fine.
