The Niagara Parks Police held a RIDE spot-check yesterday (December 15) along the Niagara Parkway and laid just one charge.
After pulling over 200 cars, the police said one man blew over but in the warning range. That resulted in a three-day suspension.
However, they added there were “several” other non-alcohol provincial offences that were also charged.
The Niagara Parks Police is a force of fewer than 25 who patrol 56 km of roadway from Niagara-on-the-Lake down to Fort Erie on the edge of the Niagara River and Niagara Gorge.
