Niagara Police find missing Thorold suspect in Niagara Falls stabbing

The missing suspect in a Niagara Falls February 9 stabbing has been found by the Niagara Police.

While the police were able to track one of the two suspects the day of the stabbing, the second had been at large since that time.

On January 9, a 30-year-old victim let two men into his house on Arad Street near the Drummond Road area of Niagara Falls and subsequently was repeatedly stabbed. The victim remains in hospital with life threatening injuries.

The first suspect, Peter William Charles Blaker, 36, of Niagara Falls was found and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and failing to comply with a release order later that day in Niagara Falls.

However, the second suspect, Patrick Charles Cline, 49, of Thorold remained at large until Tuesday (Feb. 22) when Niagara Police located him in St. Catharines.

Cline has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, failing to comply with probation and failing to comply with a release order. He was held pending a bail hearing.
