Niagara Police investigating as Pride flag destroyed at Lincoln church

The Niagara Police are investigating a Pride flag that was destroyed at a Lincoln church and said they are treating it as a potential hate crime.
Police discovered that suspects has pulled both the Pride flag and the Canadian flag off the pole at the Trinity United Church on William St. near King St.
They that the flags were both found on the ground next to the church’s flag pole early on May 28. They quickly realized the flag pole’s rope had been cut and the Pride Flag had been ripped up.
Examining video footage, police says five people came onto the property and three of them cut the flags down on May 27 at 9:55 p.m.
