Niagara Police have now made a second arrest in the murders of two young women at the house party in Fort Erie on January 19.

After Julianna Pannunzio, 20, of Windsor and Christine Crooks, 18, of Toronto were found dead on the scene, police have spent months searching for suspects, finally arresting a Toronto man last week.

Yesterday (August 30), they made a second arrest. Heidi Bahler, 29, of Scarborough is facing charges of accessory to murder and obstruction of justice.

She is currently being held in custody pending a court appearance on today at the Robert S.K. Welch Court House in St. Catharines.

The Niagara Regional Police Service would like to thank members of the public for their continued cooperation and assistance in this matter. This investigation remains ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
