The September 21 Niagara Police investigation into multiple car break-ins in West Lincoln, as well as the theft of two vehicles, is expanding.

Police have now determined there were 16 related incidents and that the value of the items stolen from the parked vehicles is estimated to be over $5,000.

The ongoing investigation has now crossed over into Hamilton where police have been able to get photos of two more of the suspects (see below).

The initial investigation from September 21 saw three suspects enter at least 11 parked vehicles and stole items from inside of them. The suspects are also wanted for the theft of two cars. They were:

  • 2010 Ford Taurus 4 door gold / yellow (Ontario Licence #BWBY461)
  • 2013 Hyundai Veloster 3 door red (Ontario Licence #CMKN134).

The continued investigation shows stolen credit cards stolen from the parked cars were fraudulently used at stores in Hamilton (see photo).

Anyone with information about these incidents or the identity of the suspects should call D/Cst Dwaine HAUGHIE at 905-688-4111, extension 1009263.
