Niagara Region has acknowledged that the Rogers’ outage today (July 8) played havoc on its (Niagara Regional Transit) NRT OnDemand service.

The NRT OnDemand vans allow Niagara residents without regular transit service to travel from their location to the destination they select for a flat fee service.

In a tweet, the Niagara Region says the ongoing rogers outage is affecting service by limiting the number of vehicles on the road.

“The ongoing Rogers Outage is affecting NRT OnDemand service by limiting the number of vehicles on the road,” said Niagara Region. “We’re working to service all trips that were pre-booked for today. Please be patient as today’s wait times are expected to be longer than usual.”
