Niagara Region saw 19 new COVID-19 cases today (November 4) and while that’s not ideal, it does represent a huge drop from yesterday’s 44 new cases.

With 17 cases resolved, it dropped the region’s ongoing cases to 199. Yesterday, the region hit 200 for the first time since mid-July.

On the positive side, just two Niagara residents are being treated in local hospitals for the virus – one in ICU, one not.

St. Catharines remains on top of the case numbers with 52 followed by both Fort Erie and Niagara Falls at 43 cases each.

The remaining nine municipalities range between three cases in West Lincoln to 10 cases in Lincoln.
