Old-world, Tuscan-style condos coming to St. Catharines

People with a taste for homes with a more classic, European look might be intrigued to hear that stacked townhouses with an old-world design are coming to St. Catharines.
According to a listing posted on livabl.com, Royal Tuscan – Masterpiece Townhomes, currently in the preconstruction phase, are taking shape at 1024 Vansickle Rd. N. Developed by the Palazzo Royale Real Estate Group, the complex will include 78 four-storey units.
Prices will begin at $398,000, with some units costing up to $1.4 million.
Units range in size from 650 to 3,500 square feet.
According to the listing, amenities will include private balconies, a party room, private roof terraces, a landscaped courtyard and a “show-stopping, unique, European architectural design guaranteed to stand the test of time.”
The listing says the townhomes will feature imported limestone to enhance its unique look, as well as above-standard fireproofing with steel beams, noise-proofing with walls that are half-an-inch thicker and triple-glazed windows.
The homes are expected to reach completion in 2024.
