One more COVID-19 death in Niagara Region today

There was another COVID-19 death in Niagara Region today (September 7), pushing the total up to 422 since March 2020.

With 13 new cases being reported, the total active cases now sits at 422, all of them suspected to be the Delta variant. Keeping that number down was the fact that 35 cases were resolved today.

Niagara Falls continues to be the case leader with 72 active while St Catharines is trailing that with 55. Thorold and Fort Erie both have 19 while Grimsby, Pelham and Welland all have 15. The remaining five municipalities are all between one and nine cases.
