Over $50,000 in drugs seized in Port Colborne drug bust, three charged

Two women and a man have been charged in connection with an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs valued at over $50,000 in Port Colborne.
An investigation started earlier this month by Niagara Regional Police identified a residence on Steele Street and a police warrant was issued.
Police would end up seizing:
- 7 grams of fentanyl with an estimated street value of $45,000
- 2 grams of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $1820
- 32 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $3200
- $1035 in currency
- A shotgun with live ammunition unsafely stored and serial numbers removed.
Three people have been charged.
Angela Elizabeth Cirillo, 54, of Niagara Falls has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possession of a firearm Without a Licence
Jeffrey Patrick Ring, 45, of Port Colborne has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Carless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number has been Tampered With
- Possession of a Firearm Without a Licence
- Possess Weapon Contrary to Court Imposed Prohibition
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Cirillo and Ring were held in custody for a video bail hearing at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharine on June 27.
Meghan Sarah Smith, 34, of Port Colborne has been charged with:
- Possession of controlled substance – Fentanyl
- Possession of controlled substance – Crystal Methamphetamine
Smith was later released by promising to report to court on a future date.
