Pair charged after $63,000 in cash and drugs found in Niagara Falls

A Niagara Falls woman and a man with no address have found themselves charged after a month-long investigation by Niagara Police into drug trafficking in the city.

Yesterday (July 10), the police raided a hotel room on Fallsview Blvd., a residence on Drummond Road and a 2018 Hyundai Tucson belonging to one of the suspects.

In total, detectives seized 230.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, 46.9 grams of suspected cocaine, 307 grams of suspected cannabis, one smoke grenade (an explosive), and one canister of pepper spray (a prohibited weapon).

The street value of the seized drugs is $20,500 but police also found $42,501.15 suspected to be crime cash.

Jessica Ferreira-Parsons, 28, of Niagara Falls has been charged with one count of illegal drug possession for trafficking, possession of an explosive device and possession of a restricted weapon.

Marcus Roye, 29, of no fixed address has been charged with possession of crime cash over $5,000 and three counts of illegal drug possession for trafficking.

Both are in police custody, scheduled to attend a bail hearing later today (July 11) via video link to the courthouse, located in St. Catharines.
