The Pelham Summerfest started in 2011 as a single day to celebrate the completion of the Downtown Streetscaping in Fonthill and to promote a pedestrian-friendly town centre as advocated by the Pelham Active Transportation Committee.

Since then, it has grown to a four-day festival event that includes music and entertainment for all ages, children’s activities, retail & food vendors, arts and crafts, a wine garden, a beer pavilion, and a Sunday car show.

The fun all starts with the kick-off tonight (July 13) from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the Summerfest Opener featuring music, entertainment, and food.

It continues tomorrow (July 14), again from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Country Night, featuring some great downhome acts for the evening.

Saturday (July 15) is the big day as the fun runs from 10 a.m. to midnight with the All Day Street Festival, featuring the Kids Zone from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Active Zone from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The final bow comes Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the popular Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Kids Zone from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Say, organizers, “Come Chill on the Hill in 2023!  Four days of family fun take place in Fonthill – Bring your family, your sunscreen, your lawn chairs, and your dancing shoes!”
