Photo released of vehicle of interest in Niagara Falls murder investigation

Niagara Regional Police have released a photograph of a vehicle of interest in their investigation into the fatal shooting of a boy near the Niagara Fall Great Canadian Midway earlier in the month.

Shots rang out on Clifton Hill around 12 a.m. April 8. Investigators arrived around 12:30 a.m. after reports of the shooting made their way through.

On arrival the officers found three victims suffering gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead on scene while the other two were rushed to hospital for treatment.

Both surviving victims were transferred to other hospitals for further treatment. As of the first announcement, one remained in critical condition and the other was in stable condition. Both later stabilized.

Later that day, police updated the public saying all three victims were young boys under 18 years old.

Witnesses saw a blue Ford F-150 Supercrew 4 Door Pick Up racing away from the scene. The truck was last seen heading west on Lundy’s Ln toward Montrose Rd. It has four doors, a tri-fold tonneau cover, tinted windows and a moonroof.

Police have yet to track down the truck and have released the following images in effort to identify it.

Police are continuing to speak with anyone who was at the Midway at the time of the shooting around 12:30 a.m April 8.
