If you have no plans to retire your Barbie-inspired pink wardrobe this summer, you might be excited to hear that a popular outdoor event is the perfect venue for your rose-coloured ensemble.
Tables are still available for the upcoming Shades of Rosé Dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake, an outdoor event set to take place on part of Queen St. on Sunday, Aug. 13.
The dinner, which will run from 6 pm until 11 pm in the town’s picturesque downtown core, will be a “celebration of summer, rosé wines and all things pink.”
The dinner will take place under the clocktower of the Cenotaph and the George St. Kitts band will provide live music over the course of the festivities.
According to the event’s official website, guests–who are asked to wear pink–will get to indulge in local wine, craft beer and cider that can be pre-purchased with a table booking. Tables seat eight guests and diners must bring their own food (a picnic-style dinner is recommended), tablecloth (must be pink or white) and rosé-hued decor.
“All you need to bring is your favourite food, tablecloth, tableware, and décor for your table (remember everything must be PINK),” the website reads.
“Tables and chairs will be in place and reserved in your name. Any wine, beer, or cider that you pre-order will be chilled and ready for pick up on arrival on-site.”
The website also says that Craig’s Cookies, which recently opened a store in NOTL, is offering limited-edition pink cookies for the event for $33 a dozen.
You can book a table by clicking here.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol from home and all alcohol orders must be in by 5 pm on Aug. 7. Parking is available in town-run lots.
