Police are looking for three suspects following an armed home invasion in Port Colborne.
On August 15 just past 10 pm, police were called to a home in the Elm Street and Meadowlark Drive area of the city.
When they arrived, they learned that a lone homeowner saw three masked men break in – one armed with a handgun – demanding anything of value.
The homeowner, who wasn’t injured, was able to escape outside and call for help.
The three suspects took off in what is believed to be a black Volkswagen Passat with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Suspect One is described as a male, 6-foot with a slender build. Suspect Two was also a male with a slender build. Suspect Three was, again, a male with a slender build.
Police are looking for any potential witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the robbery.
They are also asking residents with CCTV footage in Port Colborne near the Elm Street and Meadowlark Drive area and driver who may have been in the area with an operational dash-camera to review their footage.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option #3, extension #1009638.
