Those who regularly pop into a popular lavender farm and shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake to purchase everything from essential oils to hair and body care products should note that both the farm and shop have (or will soon have) new homes.

Neob (Niagara Essential Oils and Blends) Lavender, a commercial lavender grower and boutique that operates locations in NOTL, Elora, Stratford and Bracebridge, recently took to social media to announce that its store has moved from its original location on Niagara Stone Road to 38 Queen Street.

Now, the boutique is located right in the town’s popular and historic downtown core, by Just Christmas and BeauChapeau Hat Shop.

The farm itself will also be relocating to 933 Niagara Stone Road and is expected to open this June.

In an Instagram post, neob’s operators called the changes “fantastic news.”

“A fantastic opportunity has presented itself, and we purchased a 12-acre plot of land just down the road from the current farm location we lease. We dream of building the property into something extraordinary, one stage at a time,” the Instagram post reads.

According to the post, the owners plan to create a seasonal shop and plant 20,000 lavender plants.

“This year, you will be able to come to the new ‘neob lavender flower farm’ and pick the most colourful bouquets of fresh flowers. As we beautify the land, we look forward to inviting you to join us on our adventures starting this summer.”

The new downtown boutique, which will be open all year round, started welcoming customers a few weeks ago.

The store carries a number of lavender and other scented products, including soaps, body washes, essential oils, shampoos, conditioners, creams, cleaning products, candles, gift baskets and more.

“All the pieces fell into place perfectly, and we look forward to continuing to create unique products and updating you on our progress,” the post reads.
