Port Colborne is recruiting workers for the 2022 municipal and school board election as deputy returning officers, poll clerks, tabulator operators, revision clerks and greeters.
“Working the municipal election is a great way to participate in your community and get involved in the democratic process,” said Acting City Clerk Nicole Ruble.
“Previous election experience is considered an asset but we always welcome new workers to join the team.”
High school looking to fill their mandatory volunteer hours can offer up their services, as well.
To work during the election, applicants must be available on election day, October 24, and to attend mandatory training. Successful applicants will be contacted to schedule their attendance at their designated training. Workers will be compensated after completing training and working their scheduled shift.
Application forms are available at City Hall, 66 Charlotte Street, and on the city’s website HERE.
