Residents asked to avoid area due to fire in St. Catharines

The St. Catharines Fire Department is asking residents to avoid the area where an active fire has broken out.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., fire officials took to social media to say that firefighters are battling an active blaze on King Street between William Street and Ontario Street.
